Finished this today, ‘Autism’ by Jessie Hewitson. Easily one of my favourite books on ASD, with it’s positive neurodiversity approach I’d recommend this as a great starting point for anyone (driving instructors?) looking to read up on understanding autism. Nice section on how autism presents differently in boys/girls and I also like how it starts out with a brief history of autism, for a full on exploration of the history of autism try Neutrotribes by Steve Silberman.
